Top 5 National Parks for Taking Photos

I have a personal love for America's national parks. From coast to coast, each one holds its own unique beauty. While you might not be able to take the parks home with you, photos are a great way to keep the memories alive. If you are looking for your next national park destination, here are some spots that will truly amaze you.

1. Acadia National Park
The beautiful Acadia National Park is filled with sweeping views of the Atlantic that make the perfect snapshot. Take one of the hikes, such as Gorham Mountain, to get an even more spectacular view of the area.

2. Grand Teton National Park
If you're like me and you don't mind waking up at 5 AM for sunrise pictures, the Grand Tetons are a great place to visit. This park has gorgeous plains, mountains and wildlife that is both mesmerizing and photo worthy.

3. Yosemite National Park
As the first national park in California, Yosemite is truly one of the finest. I recommend taking pictures of some of the mountains and the redwoods.

4. Grand Canyon Park
Theodore Roosevelt had a particular love for "the wonderful grandeur, the sublimity, the great loneliness and beauty of the canyon." The beauty and strength of nature is undeniable, and being there gives you a new admiration for it.

5. Yellowstone National Park
With an area of nearly 3,500 miles, Yellowstone is both vast and incredibly beautiful. My favorite picture spots are the hot springs, waterfalls as well as the bison. If you're lucky, you might even get a picture of one of the calves.
